The Museum at FIT's "Pink: The History of a Punk, Pretty, Powerful Color"

Join RA Lauren for a visit to the Fashion Institute of Technology's Museum! The new exhibition "Pink: The History of a Punk, Pretty, Powerful Color" showcases men’s, women’s, and children’s pink clothing from global cultures — including India, Africa, Mexico, and Japan — in a historical context, exploring popular misconceptions, symbolic codings, and evolving perspectives of the color. In addition to the clothing and accessories on display, there is an installation of pink toys, dress-up clothes, and other gendered products dating from the 1950s to the present. After coming back to Carlyle, we'll discuss the exhibit over slices of homemade mille crepe cake! Spots are limited, sign up below!
